is there really a website that has import engines fully ready to be put in a car?

I have heard that there is a website and/or a company that makes engines that are import engines that are already decked out with cold air intake turbos bored ect. was wondering if it was true and if so does anyoneknow the website to this company.

Almost every engine you're going to be able to find will require that you use your old ignition and fuel systems. They aren't too hard to change over. The best deals I've found are on JDM engines on Ebay. I've put a 2.5L V6 JDM in my girlfriend's 1996

What is the difference between American and Japanese cars?

The Japanese engines is the power they can produce at a low cc.You often get my Muscle car can beat your Import well yes it prob can,as its usually about 3 of the import engines,but if the import engine was muscle car big it would be super fast.So this leads to the Japanese engine producing alot of power for its size and being tuneable and hence cheaper on petrol,insurance and taxes. And making it popular.

Quality control. Japanese companies in general are obsessed with perfection and quality control. Oftentimes dimensions are checked 2-3 times before the part is installed and this attention to detail ultimately makes a more reliable product.

It should be noted that american cars have made great strides lately while toyota has dropped significantly in quality. By the way – Toyota is in bed with GM, Ford owns Mazda, Volvo and Jaguar, Chrysler and Mitsubishi have had a longer relationship than most of us have had with our wives/husbands. Remeber the Chrysler Lancer – It is now a Mitsubishi name plate on a car. The cars are not better – They are the same. Take care of your car and it will take care of you!!
